Holes smaller than plate thickness can be punch-pressed,
reducing the cost even lower than that of the machining process!!

  • The technology makes it possible to provide holes and bars smaller than the thickness of plate, which has been conventionally impossible.
  • The technology enables processing plates of a wider range of thickness and leaving a smaller spacing (bar) between holes in comparison with a conventional process.
    Thus, a higher percentage open area is otained, leading to more fields of application.
  • The technology reduces the cost compared to such processes as machining and electron beam processing.

About

Enables punching holes of sizes smaller than plate thickness.
(Vertical and horizontal arrows are of the same length.)

 Enables processing at a shorter pitch that has been conventionally impossible. With a given hole size, a higher strength can be obtained by using a thicker plate.
(Example)Stainless Steel Plate
Thickness: 2.5t　→　Hole Size: 1.5
Thickness: 3.0t　→　Hole Size: 2.0
